I’m Kevin Schmidt, founder of Cornerstone Bookkeeping & Payroll, based here in Destin, Florida. I’m a husband, a dad of three, and a longtime member of this community. I’m also someone who genuinely believes that small businesses are the backbone of a thriving local economy.
After earning my MBA and spending more than a decade in accounting, financial operations, and outsourced support services, I launched Cornerstone to solve a problem I saw everywhere: Too many business owners were trying to grow on an unstable financial foundation.
